![]() ![]() A lot of them were pretty hard and many players skipped them because of it.Īlso, the original Morrowind journal system relied on you reading and looking in areas that were not marked on the map but indicated in relation to places on your map, like "look on the east side of the road half-way between Balmora and Caldera". The Secret World didn't for all of it's quests, it had 3 or 4 different types, some were just go to the x and kill something, x somthing or get object or x objects, but they had a type of mission called an investigation, there were no markers, usually you had to find something hidden on the map or on an interactive object on the map or a combination for some locked object, and to do this not only did you have to use clues inside the game but you also had to use external tools including web pages (some created by funcom), decoding systems you might need to research to understand then actually decode, and other resources. Its the same basic mechanics/quest formula as earlier dont know why you think this would change.īut since you expect that can you tell me were you got these hopes from cause all mmos ive played the quest formula never changed but ill gladly give whatever game you came from a go I'm barely 1/4 of the map done so far and I'm loving it:) Just don't count on working Battlegrounds or OP Warden and you'll be fine. ![]() Oh and new high res textures everywhere are making me super happy too. Voicing is absolutely amazing, I'm actually waiting for some npcs to finish speaking all the way because it's just so cool(Ashnur *drools*) Music is gorgeous. It's good to see them try to bring some variety). ![]() I might not be a fan of sneaking but it's.different. You can kill npcs instead of hiding in most of them, but in some instances it will actually have consequences. I mean it's still there but there're some achievements/quests requiring you to find stuff not marked on map whatsoever, there're a lot of sneaky quests (featuring hiding baskets a la TG too. Stories are awesome and actually have some unexpected plot twists, dialogues actually offer you meaningful choices that have consequences, and I think they really did try to make it a little bit less of "go to point A, pick up thing 1, come back to me" thing. ![]()
